Ephemera: AWOL (1950s)


Someone who knows the uniforms better can date this more clearly, but the guitar is a 40s Kay (2nd look -- actually, it's probably a Harmony) and the tailpiece and tuners are later replacements, rather than originals (note the shape of the buttons).

My eyes may deceive me but I think that guitar has 19 frets -making it a Kay- while a Harmony would be 20.

Thanks, Kay was my first guess -- the only thing that throws me is the curvier body and the particular segmented f-hole shapes, but cameras deceive, too.
