1960s Del Vecchio Resonator Tenor Guitar

What's better than one Del Vecchio tenor in the shop? Why -- two, of course! I didn't have to do anything to this one but it was in for show and tell with the other. It has an unusual "alien eyes" arrangement of soundholes in the upper bout, has a yellowed/lightened finish, and looks, plays, and sounds just as good as you could want.

Per my description of the other -- it has a sweet, warm, almost mandolin-like tone that's mixed-into a biscuit-bridge National sound. You don't get "ear fatigue" playing these in the same way you do with some resonators that bark-out in the upper mids and highs like mad. It's still quite loud, though.

The body is ply Brazilian rosewood throughout, it has a thick, rosewood fretboard, and "classical-style" wood binding and trim details.
