2020 Music Man Luke III Electric Guitar
There have been a number of Music Man instruments passing through the shop lately. This one is more on the "modern guitar" side of the equation in looks and features and has that excellent, slightly-asymmetrical, full-but-fast neck profile. It has just enough meat to make lead work a breeze up the neck (there's enough to "push against") yet it's got a curvy-enough fretboard radius to make it an easy chordal beast way up and way down the neck.
The pickup selection is interesting, too, with two positions (2 and 4) which sound very Stratty as the pickups are single-coil-split in them. It makes for a guitar that can wedge itself into just about any sonic territory you might be going for. This would be tremendously useful if, say, you plan to pick on one guitar all night long while doing a whole bunch of cover tunes in different genres.
It's also got the usual Music Man preamp built-in and powered by a 9V with box access on the back.
