2011 Gibson '50s Tribute Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar

This LP Studio is a good one -- fairly lightweight for a Paul (a hair over 7 lbs), satin-gold on the top, and with a thick, girthy, chunky voice that will run anywhere from jazz to very hard rock. For those into vintage Gibsons, the neck will feel remarkably similar to late-'50s profiles (it feels very "home base" for me). In short -- I like it -- and I am not a huge Les Paul fan because I'm usually turned-off right away by the weight. This one is lighter than most Telecasters, however, so it's a win!

After a bit of minor setup-side work, it's playing spot-on and ready to roll.

Repairs included: a fret level/dress and setup.

Condition notes: it's got finish blem/wear along the edges, back, and especially the lower-bout where the right arm makes contact with the body. Does it look great? Yes, it sure does. It makes the guitar "cozy" and "comfy" -- like you're playing an old friend rather than a pristine pearl. There are minor nicks, scratches, dings, etc. throughout the finish, too. The guitar is otherwise in good order and all original.

It comes with: sorry, no case.
