Ephemera: Train Crash in Hickville (c.1930)

Bizarre photo, bizarre band. They have Hickville scrawled out in various flags and they sure are acting some sort of part -- big old Chief painted on the bass drum, plectrum banjo, fella in drag at the piano... who knows?

That aside, there are fun toys finishing up tomorrow: a 20s Oscar Schmidt Hilo Weissenborn-style guitar, two pretty koa Hawaiian ukes (customer repairs) and a Ditson Empire bowlback (Larson-made?) mandolin.

I will also be updating the inventory to include a number of items that are either new arrivals, moved out of my personal collection for sale, or are coming back for resale in various trade deals. Plenty of odd-duck gear will be showing up (for those of us who love that stuff).
