Clippings: Gibson Resonator-Back Guitar (1930)


Wonderful clipping here from one of those MTR archived sources (a 1930 issue). I was just randomly going through these and spotted this. I've never seen a Gibson version of this sort of guitar! I've seen the Martin versions made for Lange but not something from Gib with an L-00 profile. Very weird!

The construction of that Gibson guitar looks much like the constuction of the Weymann tenor harp that Andrew and I sent you
