Ephemera: Gents & Furs (1890s)

One wonders what sort of stuff this duo played: gut-strung guitar with a thinner-sounding variety of bowlback. The tonal palette is ripe for Italian trad but I have a feeling that's not what's going on in St. Louis, here.
