Mailbag: Mr. Aaron's Uke Handbook

Looking for an artsy and efficient learner's uke book? Mr. Aaron Keim (longtime email penpal -- keypal?) and his lady Nicole have released a hand-made, nicely-printed book that also features an online video addendum. They let me take a glimpse at a preview digital copy of it and heck, way cool!

I honestly don't have a lot of time to review stuff like this in full, but suffice to say it's well-done and the crafty appeal of this one got me sucked into it. The text is hand-written, it's full of cute and thoughtful drawings, fun old-timey songs, easy music theory, and clever little tips. It's a much more "homey" and enjoyable version of a "how to" for uke than I've seen yet.
