1963 Chevy Pickup


A customer of mine showed-off his '63 Chevy to us today. Isn't that something? It's as gorgeous inside as it is out. I think, if you're at all like me, a fascination with old cars goes right alongside a fascination with old guitars.

I see a few of these where I live in Australia...yes old guitar fascination = old car fascination....I've always thought these old Ford pickups looked great! They are in many a movie. Love it when they have a gun rack!

Vintage Guitar mag did a piece this past year on custom color finishes on Fender guitars from the 50's directly drawn from (now classic) auto finishes of that era.....

Real beaut! I agree, old vehicles and guitars go hand in hand. Two that got away make me sick to this day; a 1954 all original Chevy truck and a mint 1936 Gibson L-OO... There's a good reason for both getting away but I still miss them.
