Workshop: All-Fourths Tuning on Mini Strat
A buddy asked me to make a vid of this thing after I told him I'd restrung this in all fourths tuning. So, here's some idea of you can get in high-tuned all fourths. Regular 4ths is EADGCF low to high and this is BEADGC above that.
To me this is "all bass" tuning because the central four strings are sort-of like playing a mandolin-feeling bass. It's way-fun but I'm going to have to remap my brain a bit. The high C is just two steps below mandolin's high E and the B is just a half-step below mandola's low C.
