2012 Eastwood Airline Map Deluxe Electric Guitar

The original '60s Airline/National "Map" guitars were Res-O-Glass semihollow builds and sported big, raunchy-sounding single coil pickups and questionable electronics. This modern, Eastwood-made interpretation is more like a fancy-shaped Les Paul, though -- and that's also good -- but very different from the original guitars. It looks and sounds killer, though, and I think it's a little rarer to have one of these with the gold hardware and pickguard.

This guy has a solid mahogany body with contoured top edge and binding, too. It's finished in black and features a bridge with roller saddles, a Bigsby B5-style licensed whammy, two humbuckers in a relaxed, '60s-sounding voice, a Gibson-style 24 3/4" short scale length, and a crazy-fast, slim neck profile. The neck's bolted-on so angle adjustment is easy-peasy if needed.

It's been played and gigged some and has some low-level scratching and mild wear throughout, but I just gave it a fresh setup and fit a new, better-quality Switchcraft jack the other day and it's playing spot-on and is ready to go.

Repairs included: setup, adjustments, new jack, mild cleaning.

Condition notes: it has some average scratches and light scuffs throughout. It's in overall good shape, though, and all-original save a replacement jack. One small annoyance is that the bridge was misplaced when it was built so there's very limited remaining travel for the saddles to adjust. It's in-tune, however, and should be with anything up to 12s. The frets are also just barely-played. I didn't need to level/dress them at all because they're so clean. As you might expect, the pickup covers and some of the hardware shows minor wear to the plating, too.
