2001 Rudolph Bayerle "Wolfgang" 4/4 Violin
Rudolph Bayerle was a small builder from North Wilbraham, MA and his son brought-in three of his violins. All are made from good materials and are a bit quirky in their details and build style but very interesting.
This one is titled "Wolfgang" on the label and has quite the orangey finish to it, but oh my take a look at the flamed maple on the back and sides. The top and back on this are cut into a higher arch and this instrument, in particular, is cut very thin in the middle of the top. Because of that it has a husky, airy tone to the high-end and a strong, burred-sounding low-end. Played lightly it's sweeter and dug-into it has a sort-of woody, open sound.
After setup it plays well and it's ready to go.
Repairs included: setup.

Condition notes: it's presumably all-original and in good order but does have a mismatched (rosewood) tailpiece with 4 fine tuners. I believe I have a few new ebony ones around the shop if this is an issue.
It comes with: a nice case.
