2010s SX Vintage Series Telecaster-Style Electric Guitar

I'm not so sure about when this SX Vintage Series Tele-style electric was made, but I'm guessing in the last 10-15 years. I'm also not sure if it's a partscaster experiment or if it came stock with the current loadout, but if it's a stock instrument it's a pretty nice loadout.

Said load is a big-pole ("quarter pounder" as Duncan says) uncovered single-coil Tele neck pickup and a humbucker at the bridge. Said bucker has a coil-split option with a push/pull pot on the tone control that allows single-coil or humbucking operation. In single-coil mode it pairs volume-wise bang-on with the neck pickup (as setup) but in bucking mode it gives a nice, raunchy boost, of course.

All I did for this instrument was give it a glorified setup and it was ready to roar and playing spot-on. It was put together just fine, though as you'd expect for a cheaper instrument, fit and finish are not 100%. The parts are all good, though -- sealed tuners, heavy-duty bridge and control plate, nice individual saddles, good pickups, you name it. The wiring harness is all heavier-duty components as well -- none of the cheap mini-pots and funky caps for this guy.

Now that I think of it -- this probably is at least partly partscastered! The finish definitely is a "custom" job -- someone removed the green tiny with some steel wool and then buffed over that to give it a "relic" look. It's not ideal but it's workmanly.

Condition notes: the finish has been "relic'd" by a previous owner. The neck pocket has some chipping in it but it's not visible from the outside and poses no issue structurally. The frets are essentially new and show only the most minor wear. There's a little bit of a concave area to the treble side of the bridge (at the pickup cavity). The hardware shows mild tarnish here and there and the control plate shows steel-wooling for a "vintage" effect. Both string trees appear to be replacements.
