2000/2000s Fender/Allparts Stratocaster Partscaster Electric Guitar
So -- the lowdown is -- it's a Y2K Fender Mexico Strat body with Fender-factory pickups (black plastic bobbins and probably something like Tex-Mex pickups). The neck is a soon-after Allparts one with Fender decals and a "vintage yellow" spray job. The pickguard is a replacement mint green with backwards-tilted bridge pickup giving the lows a bit more snap and the highs a bit more "cream."
The neck is not relic'd. I'd seen this years ago briefly and it was newish at that point. The owner's son played the heck out of it, though, and by the time it got back here (for resale, now), the instrument was both poorly-setup, filthy, and the neck was basically black on its face. Once I cleaned the grime off, I'd found that the finish had been worn-through from playwear on most of the face and also the back of the neck. The bonus, here? It feels and plays like an old neck, now. You pick it up and it feels... '60s! We win! ...and it looks great, too.
Aside from normal work (fret level/dress, cleaning, setup) I also changed the "vintage" stagger of the poles to a more modern one (for plain-G stringing) to get even output string-to-string. It's so nice not to have the G overpower everything else. I also replaced the cruddy mounting screws for the neck with genuine, fresh, Fender ones.
Repairs included: heavy cleaning, a fret level/dress, and setup.

Condition notes: aside from being a mongrel (mixed bits), it's in good order overall. Everything works as it should and the wiring harness has good-quality components -- full sized pots and whatnot. There's definitely wear and tear all over the neck and the body shows small scratches, nicks, dings, etc. throughout. The hardware shows tarnish and use. The plastic parts have aged a bit.
It comes with: no case, sorry!
