2012 Boulder Creek ERJ6-N Jumbo Acoustic/Electric Guitar
I've had a few Boulder Creek instruments pass through the shop. They're all pretty interesting and very stable, with an extra-light bracing pattern that is supplemented by aluminum posts and plastic "ties" that allow the top to vibrate freely while also staying structurally safe. They mix that with soundport-style soundholes (so the player can "hear" the guitar better) and pickup and onboard preamp so that they're ready to go for live use.
This one is an impressive-looking guitar in a J-200, jumbo-body outline. The body is all ply flamed koa and it has a mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard and bridge. Just like an old Yamaha, because the body is ply, it's reliable and stable in service -- and just like an old Yamaha (or one of those Alvarez J-200 clones from the '70s which are also ply), it sounds big and rumbly and great. It's a perfect big-strummer guitar.
It's been played a bit but is in good health and I've just done some fresh work so it's playing spot-on and ready to go.
Repairs included: a fret level/dress, mild cleaning, and setup.

Condition notes: there is one little chip-out in the "trim" around the soundhole on the face, a variety of minor scuffs/scratches in the body that are not obvious at all (just handling wear), and the back of the neck has been lightly "speed-necked" via steel wooling/buffing, it looks like. The finish is all still there but it's just been dulled a little from the high gloss. It wasn't something I noticed until I was taking photos.
It comes with: a nice hard was with a ton of Vermont stickers on it.
