2018 Squier Classic Vibe '50s Telecaster
Just like the last Squier CV '50s Tele that was in, this more-recent one is a lot of guitar for the money. It was in for a small nick/ding repair in the neck and a setup and after that was all done, this thing is now playing like an ace for its owner. The pickups are twangy but warm and the handling is fast and easy.
Like "proper" old Teles, the 3 barrel saddles are not compensated for each string individually, so after I set locations for good intonation, I bent the tip of the saddle-adjustment screws so that the saddles would be allowed to "tilt" into proper compensation. To reverse this to keep it "stock" would be nice and easy as all one would need is replacement saddle screws which can be found at most hardware stores.
