1984/2007 Fender AVRI '62 Stratocaster Electric Guitar
This is a partscaster but it's basically at heart an '84 AVRI '62 Strat neck, pickups, and hardware fit to an '07 American alder (I believe) body. The pickup covers and pickguard are probably replacements (much more aged pickup covers are stashed in the case pocket and look original to me) and the harness appears original as well, with ‘81 CTS pots and proper wire.
As you might expect, post-repairs it plays like an absolute champ and sounds the business, too. It's got the chime and the sparkle and the retro, '60s-feeling neck. It feels like "home base" to me as this width and profile is one I'm very familiar with, being a longtime Fender-fan. The neck has been refretted with modern, wide/medium stock, however. Originally this would have had much more narrow/smaller stock on it.
The neck has been played-in "just so" and the look -- white on olympic white matched with the older, aged-in hardware and neck finish -- is classic as well. The body is still quite clean but does show minor usewear and aging here and there.

Condition notes: as noted above, much of the "heart" of this guitar is from an '84 AVRI '62 Strat. The body is an '07 US-made alder one. The pickguard and pickup covers appear to be later, though the original pickup covers (it seems) are in the case pocket. There's finish wear to the neck and mild usewear through the body and hardware. The wiring harness appears to be original.
It comes with: a good hard case and Fender strap.
