1937 Epiphone Blackstone Carved-Top Archtop Tenor Guitar

This stunner has a serial number that points to 1937. It's a carved-top, 16" body that was cut light enough compared to the average 6-string Epiphone to react well with the lighter-tension tenor stringing. It's an absolute cannon of a guitar and punches-out loud and clear with a full, round, saucy voice.

Like all older Epiphone archtops, it also has a great-looking cut to the body. These are super-curvy and sit in the lap just so. Its hardware is all heavy-duty, too, and with all of that playwear it's friendly and worn-in and ready to rip. As soon as you see this you start imagining the innumerable gigs its had under its belt...

Repairs included: a fret level/dress, bridge adjustments, cleaning, and setup.

Condition notes: it has a lot of finish wear and tear but is crack-free and all-original save for new binding on the body (thankfully installed by someone else) and newer frets. I've modified the bridge a little bit, however, to give it more adjustment room.

It comes with: a good hard case.
