1994 Alvarez A-100 Archtop Mandolin (Update)
I worked on this instrument for a local customer years ago and it's come back here in trade the same way it left, though with a bit more dust. I cleaned it up, adjusted the bridge again, and set it up again. It's still the same old all-ply, sturdy, student-level wonder-box, but it does play nicely and has a good, clean, easygoing tone with enough punch to jam with.
While this model was made from the early '80s through the '90s and with similar ones being made in the late '70s, this one was made in the early '90s with the previous owner having told me it was bought in '94 when new.
Repairs included: (previously) a fret level/dress and setup... and (now) a setup.
