2017 Fender FSR Jazz Bass Electric Bass Guitar

This bass got dropped-off for resale last week and it sold before I even had a chance to snag pics. Fortunately, the new owners let me snap a few before they headed out the door to a happy new bass-land awaiting them!

This is a fairly-typical new Fender Mexico Jazz Bass save that it has a solid ash body in natural and that ash has some nice, light figuring in it here and there. It's both a great looking bass and also an instrument that handles beautifully as well. The neck profile reminds me of '60s Jazz necks but with slightly more heft to the rear profile. It's fast and very comfortable.

I think the pau ferro fretboard also sets-off the ash body and tortoise pickguard nicely, too.
