1960s Silvertone 1446 (Harmony-made) Hollowbody Electric Guitar
Hey, another familiar face! I've worked on a few of these, but have only blogged one other in good original shape (there's a video in that post) and then another that was a cobbler's mixmash.
This one was in for a glorified setup and still needs a little help with its wiring harness but it's now playing spot-on and sounding righteous. It's currently rocking flatwound strings in gauges 50w-11 and the Bigsby is very happy with them.
If you've played a Harmony Rocket, you basically understand what this guitar is about handling-wise. The dragon "under the hood," however, are the pair of Gibson-made mini-humbucker pickups which sound disgustingly-good. You just can't argue with good mini-buckers and it's even harder to argue with ones setup in a "Wide Range" format.
