2010 Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar

I'm a fan of the newer, stripped-down, US-made Gibson electrics with satin "faded" finishes. They're sturdy, play well when adjusted properly, and sound excellent. This one's even fairly lightweight for a Paul, too, at just under 7 lbs.

Aside from the cosmetic upgrades of fancier models, I don't see much to upgrade to if you're a no-frills personality and aren't into extreme minutiae in terms of pickups and features. These have the goods and due to the dull, satin finishes, they don't show wear and tear as quickly as their glossier cousins.

This one arrived here via a consignor and while it shows minor playwear (small dings on the body edges and a scratch here and there) it's overall in good shape.
