2022 Fender American Vintage II Stratocaster Electric Guitar

Last year I had one of the American Vintage II Telecasters in and I was duly impressed. This year I have this white and mint (isn't cookies-n-cream the best?) Strat in the house and I like it quite a bit. It looks, feels, and sounds like a champ and is more-or-less a new guitar but with some pickup upgrades and two whammy bars to choose from.

It's got all the retro features that I love about old Fenders -- a 1 5/8" nut, curvy medium C neck shape,  and a tight-radius 7 1/4" board. The clay dots are a great look, too, and it has all of the correct details to look classic right from the get-go.

Repairs included: just a quick setup.

Weight: 7 lbs 12 oz

Scale length: 25 1/2"

Nut width: 1 5/8"

Neck shape: slim-medium C

Board radius: 7 1/4"

Body width: 12 3/4"

Body depth: 1 3/4"

Body wood: alder

Bridge: traditional 6-saddle

Fretboard: rosewood

Neck wood: maple

Pickups: originals in case, currently a set of Bootstrap Golden Ale

Action height at 12th fret: 1/16” overall (fast, spot-on)
String gauges: 46w-10

Truss rod: adjustable

Neck relief: straight

Fret style: medium-vintage

Condition notes: it's near-mint condition with only the mildest usewear/playwear in evidence. To me it looks like... a new guitar... but I definitely did not get a magnifying glass out. It's entirely original save for swapped-in Bootstrap Golden Ale pickups -- A2 magnets in the neck and middle for a vintagey/clear vibe and A5 magnets in the bridge for a bit more girth and warmth. The original pickups are in the case and I can wire them in before shipping or just leave them as extras or... whatever ya want!

It comes with: its original hard case and a second whammy bar -- the original. The one that's on it (not in the photos but it's on it in the shop, anyhow) is a replacement US bar that has a slightly different cant to it.
