1910s German-made Strad-copy 4/4 Violin

This is a nice-sounding, no-frills, husky, probably German-made, Strad-copy fiddle from around 1910 or so. It's got a cool ribbed tailpiece and a neat, "reverse sunburst" pattern. The figure in the maple is mild-medium but looks good with the more ambery-yellow color of the back finish.

I like its sound on double-stops and folk stylings -- it's got an earthy sort-of vibe to it and it's got a quick, easy neck.

Repairs included: minor crack repair to the top near the tailpiece, new strings, seam repairs, mild fingerboard level/dress, bridge and soundpost setting, adjustments.

Condition notes: there's a repaired hairline crack under and to the side of the tailpiece on the top and the body shows wear and tear throughout the finish. The pegs are decently fit and it has a replacement tailgut (new) and chinrest (older but not original). There's only one fine tuner for the high E (old-school-style) so if that's an issue, let me know and we can fit more if needed.
