1964 Otto Bruckner (German, Roth-sold) 4/4 Violin

This "red violin" beaut looks like a '30s instrument but has a 1964 Otto Bruckner label in the f-hole. It also has a Roth (retailer) label, too, from '66. It's lightly-built, has a lower/medium arch to the top, choice woods, and an "old fiddler" type of tone to it. I'll bet the bluegrass guys will take to it in the shop as it's got a lot of forward punch and cut and an even, balanced sound.

Our bowed guy Andy did all the work to bring its setup spot-on and it's ready to roll.

Repairs included: seam repairs, bridge fitting, setup, restring, cleaning, etc.
