1961 Suzuki 3/4 Violin

My guy Andy gave this old Japanese-made Suzuki 3/4-size violin a full going-over and adjustments and as a result it sounds excellent and plays spot-on. I'm really quite surprised at how good a tone it has -- it's clean and full and easy on the ears.

The label in the f-hole clearly notes that this is a Suzuki-branded/made instrument but the year of manufacture is not obvious, though I think it reads as 1961. The case, style of build, and general looks suggest that era, too.

Repairs included: soundpost set, crack re-repairs, new strings, bridge fitting, cleaning, setup, etc.

There's mild wear to the finish at the edges of the body and a little finish crackle here and there. It appears all original, too.
