2020 Nash S63 Strat-Style Electric Guitar

This is a pretty-new Nash Strat-style copy. Nash is well-known as a great "fancy partser" make that specializes in relic finishes and uses fancy hardware, fittings, and pickups. This Strat job certainly feels like that -- it's got a nice "lived-in" feel due to the relic job and it's just quirky enough to pass muster for a player looking for a Strat but a wee bit different.

Lollar pickups have been used throughout on this one but the FilterTron-style bridge pickup is a particularly nice choice (even if the poles don't quite line up with the strings) as it gives an unusual, creamier, but still jangly/honky tone to lead lines played on it. I like!

Ancel went through this one and I did a little bit of final adjustments and it's playing spot-on and ready to go. I'm a fan of the "transparent orange" finish with that tortoise pickguard. That's hard to argue with...

Condition notes: this guitar is entirely original and in good order (it was relic'd at the builder's, of course) except that it arrived with a homebrew "speed neck" which felt like it had been dragged in 80-grit sandpaper. Ancel fine-sanded and buffed the job out so now the neck is properly speed-necked and feels great.
