1965 Martin D-18 Dreadnought Guitar
I've known the owner of this guitar for a while and I've known this guitar for a while. When I first saw it I told the owner it needed a neck reset and a proper bridge, but we wound-up punting it down the road for a long while, keeping it running with too-thin bridges and low saddles.
It's been a treat to do it up nicely for the owner this time around, however! It got a neck reset, replacement bridge, fret level/dress, lots of cleaning, a new bone saddle, and setup-side work. It's now playing spot-on and fit to serve.
I just love how much wear and tear it has -- the whole back of the neck has its finish "sweated-off" and there's plenty of discoloration and yellowing to the finish throughout. It's respectable!
