1999 Fender USA Fretless Jazz Bass Electric Bass Guitar

Hey -- it's a nice, American-made, cream and white, good-looking Jazz Bass. Enough said! Except... that it's got a lined fretless neck. Except that... it plays a treat! Except that... it has that sound!

A local customer brought this in for consignment and it's been taken care-of nicely. It's surprising to see a bass that was (at one point) a regular gigging machine have so few marks and bruises.

Repairs included: a minor board plane/leveling job around the fingerboard extension,  cleaning, and setup work.

Condition notes: it's clean and all-original save the tiniest scratch or scuff here and there that has escaped my attention. The fingerboard extension (over the heel) had a little ramp-up that Ancel leveled-off. Under tension it still ramps slightly but does not have an effect on the setup. It plays smooth and clean. If you were to jack the action down to super-de-duper low, though, you will get a little buzz up past "frets" 14-16.

It comes with: a molded hard case.
