2000s Carvin 5-String Fretless Electric Bass Guitar

It's not too often that we get fusion-style basses in the shop. This one is a USA-made Carvin through-neck and it's slick, futuristic, and stylish and has a ton of tonal options. The neck is fast and it feels super-quick to play. I could imagine this would be a nice instrument for a long session...

It's got an active preamp which, as my ears tell me, has bass, mid, and treble tone controls in the lower bank of knobs. The upper three knobs "inboard" of the body edge are for master volume, a blender for the two magnetic pickups, and a blender between the magnetic pickups and the piezo "acoustic" bridge pickup.

I tried to put the tonal stuff "on trial" in the demo video but I think I didn't really make a good enough point with the settings. Still, I think perhaps you can get an idea of the way it sounds in various positions.

My guy Ancel did the setup on this and it's spot-on and ready to serve.

Repairs included: a good setup.

It comes with: a good original hard case with sales materials.
