2010s Gold Tone MB-850 Resonator Banjo-Mandolin

I posted on this instrument before but never actually got it listed for sale. This is the older version of the Gold Tone MB-850 and it haas a more "Mastertone" look and design about it, including a smaller 8" head and Gibson-looking rim, compared to the newer version of the MB-850 available these days with a larger head and resonator setup.

It's got a punchy, loud, poppy voice and a fairly typical-feeling neck. Post-setup it plays quickly and easily, too, though over time I needed to add some pretty hefty maple shim stock to the top of the neck joint area to stabilize the joint a bit more than it was in the past. I almost wonder if this would make a more-interesting 4-string instrument (I would be happy to modify it for you if desired), but it does sound good as it is.
