2015 Taylor 522CE Cutaway Acoustic/Electric Guitar

If you're a blog follower, you know by now that I admire Taylors for their innovation-first attitude. The neck joints reset in minutes, they're cut and assembled with extreme precision, and they're very easy to live with. It also helps that they sound pretty spiff, too, though I wouldn't ever call their tone "vintagey." It's much more balanced than old-school guitars for the most part.

This 522CE seems like it was built to attack my "vintage tone" brain, however. It's got all of that woody, scooped-highs/lows, mids-forward, retro-sound goodness that I want to hear out of something like an old Martin 00-17 or the like. It sounds excellent to my folksy ears. I also like the looks -- the white trim on the mahogany background is a nice choice.

Anyhow, this one is in on consignment and it's essentially new save for a few tiny dings and scratches here and there. It's playing spot-on and is ready to go.

Repairs included: a quick level/dress of the frets and a setup.
