1977 Gibson ES-335TD Semihollow Electric Guitar
Alright, this is what I'm talking about! How can one not like the looks of a blonde 335 with enough age on it to get that "golden light" flickering in its finish? The guitar itself is easy to like, too, with a fast neck and easy handling. One nice bit about the trapeze tailpiece setup is that the strings feel a little more slack on the left hand because of the extra afterlength, too.
It's got a standard 335 loadout save that there's an extra switch on the upper-bout which engages a coil-tap on each pickup which gives you a little less output and a cleaner, brighter sound. It's a "two-guitars-in-one" sort-of feature and something quite common on boutique-style guitars these days but definitely not common on older guitars. This coil-tap switch is facilitated by the "Lawrence Tarback" pickups which came with this model during these years.
It arrived here in good shape for consignment save that it needed a level/dress of the frets and some setup work, which my guy Ancel did and excellent job on. It plays spot-on and is ready to go.
Repairs included: a fret level/dress and setup.

Condition notes: it's completely original and in fantastic shape. There's a little "buckle rash" on the back in a small spot where the finish has rubbed-off and minor scratching/normal usewear throughout here and there but it mostly just looks dang clean. The binding has shrinking/age-related cracks in it but is stable.
It comes with: its original hard case.
