1966 Gibson ES-330 Hollowbody Electric Guitar

This is a gorgeous, one-owner, completely original (save a replacement pickguard) ES-330. It was bought new and then played extensively since then. When it came in with the owner the frets had been played right down to the board. Ancel did a loving job of planing the neck and refretting it with EVO Gold fretwire. A setup followed and now this beaut is playing at the top of its game again.

Per the usual, it's got a pair of P90s with a clean, mids-pushed, spanky sort-of sound. I think ES-330s have almost the perfect handling when it comes to old Gibsons. They're lightweight and comfy and the necks don't "poke out" as much as an ES-335 so the left hand is nicely "pulled in" as if you were playing a thinline acoustic or the like. In contrast, guitars with ES-335 neck-styles stick out quite a bit more as they have more frets free from the body.
