2000 Froggy Bottom Model K Cutaway Jumbo Guitar

Tone: It's clean, full, and balanced. Each note rings nicely and it has good low-end but without it being woofy or indistinct. 

Feel: Folks who enjoy a typical Taylor neck feel will be right at home on this as it has a flatter, Martin-style radius to the board and a slim-C neck shape. It feels a little more comfy than the usual Taylor for my hands, though, as there's something about the rounder corners (rather than a slimmer oval) that works for me a bit better.

Interesting features: The blue-colored herringbone-style rosette and backstrip are eye-catching and the multi-ply purfling against maple binding is a classy look. It's a refined guitar. The cutaway does give nice access to the upper frets. These are Vermont-made guitars with an international following and, as such, are held in very high esteem around these parts.

Condition notes: Overall it's very clean but there are light scratches/imprints into the soundboard here and there from normal handling wear. They're not easy to photograph or find but if you're careful in glared light you can see them. There's a little weather-check to the finish of the top and you can see it as raised lines over the purfling/top binding in the pictures. It's just normal age-related settling of the finish on the top. There's a teensy bit of finish disturbance at the sides of the fretboard extension from when I had to lift it to reset the neck. It is not obvious.
