2000 Scherl & Roth (Korean) R300E4 4/4 Violin
Tone: It's clean, accurate, and has good power. If you like to hear individual notes leap out, it does that nicely. With different strings (it has simple steel-core strings on it at the moment) you would be able to coax more warmth and subtlety out of it.
Feel: It's "average" all-around here with a medium-heft neck and standard 7/8" nut width.
Interesting features: The orangey finish and simple cut clearly identify this instrument as being intended for the student market, but it does have "all the right stuff" you would want from a student instrument -- ebony fingerboard and tailpiece, good chinrest, nicely-fit pegs, and whatnot. It's Korean-made but marketed through Scherl & Roth, the well-known bowed firm.
Repairs included: It's had some cracks repaired, cleaning, setup and bridge work, and various adjustments done.

Condition notes: There are two repaired hairline cracks on the top -- one obvious and coming from the treble side f-hole to the bottom of the instrument and one almost hidden and tight and coming from the bass f-hole to the bottom of the instrument. Both are cleated and good to go. There's light wear throughout, otherwise, but aside from the cracks, it's pretty clean.
It comes with: I will include a decent case with it from my stockpile of spare violin cases.
