2014 ESP LTD MH-103QM SuperStrat-Style Electric Guitar

Tone: It's got a very simple, straight-up sound in a SuperStrat SSH configuration. It's got an active circuit and is clearly catered to the rawk audience.

Feel: The neck is fast and slim with a full two-octave reach (24 frets) and a flatter-profile fretboard. This makes it an excellent lead machine.

Interesting features: Well, for one, it's very much a bit of a showboat with its figured top veneer, black hardware, and eye-catching color. The Floyd Rose, locking tuners, and locking nut mean that this should definitely be in the hands of a metal devotee or someone ironically aping said devotee. Which is more relevant these days, though? It's hard to tell...

Repairs included: It's had a fret level/dress, lots of cleaning, a fresh 9V battery fit, bridge adjustments and general going-over, and setup work. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve.

Condition notes: It has light wear and tear (small scratches and scuffs and finish wear) here and there throughout but overall it's not in bad shape. The clearcoat has yellowed more on the headstock, too, yielding a greener look to the finish up there. The top of the body has also yellowed to a more deep sea-green-blue color while the back and sides are more of a darker, ocean blue. It appears to be all-original except for a single "string-lock" (the low E) adjuster bolt at the bridge. We had to replace that one with something non-stock as the mounting point for the bolt was stripped-out. This new one is slightly larger than the rest in diameter.

It comes with: Sorry, no case.
