2010s Epiphone '57 Reissue Les Paul Junior Electric Guitar

Overview: This is just what it looks like -- an Epiphone version of a '57 LP Junior Reissue. It's got the set neck, bigger '50s neck profile, proportions, and cut of an original Gibson and it has much of the same sound. The serial number supposedly places it at 2006 but I think this is likely a 2010s model instead.

Tone: It's bright, clean, balanced, twangy-but-full, and aggressive into a pushed amp.

Feel: It has a fuller, '50s style, C-shaped neck profile but with a shallower, 16" board radius as opposed to the 10" or so of an original.

Interesting features: The "teardrop" sunburst is spot-on in shape and style to the originals. The tuners (Grovers) are not accurate to '50s-style instruments but are more suited to modern tastes than original-style Klusons. The owner swapped the original bridge for an aluminum, mildly-adjustable bridge. We had to replace one post and bridge foot, however, as it was damaged from over-tightening at some point.

Repairs included: It's had a good setup and mild adjustments here and there.
