1961 Gibson ES-330 Hollowbody Electric Guitar

Overview: What is there to say? The ES-330 is an iconic guitar -- they're the lightweight, more-snarly, cozier-feeling sibling of the ES-335. This one happens to sound fantastic, is in cosmetically-great shape, and has a fast, modern-style neck profile. It's also entirely original (as far as I can tell) save for a strap button added on the bass-side horn.

Tone: It's got P90s! They're bright, midsy, cut just-so in a mix, and can be as aggressive or as twang-tastic as you want depending on how you set your amp and right-hand position. You can also back-off a bit and get that late-'40s/early-'50s  jazzbox sound, too -- a P90 at the neck is a classic choice for that vibe.

Feel: As mentioned, this has a fast, slim, modern-feeling neck with the usual '50s/'60s Gibson 10" board radius. 

Interesting features: What's most-interesting about this guitar is how it's survived in such good shape!

Repairs included: It just needed a level/dress of the frets and a good setup for it to play spot-on and I think Ancel did the work on this one.

Condition notes: It's all-original save a strap button added on the bass horn at the upper bout. The finish shows weather-check throughout and there are small scratches and scuffs here and there. The headstock rear shows the most of it, with some edges rubbed-free of finish on the back of it.
