2020 MacKenzie & Marr Tofino X 000-Size Guitar

Overview: M&M guitars have been around since about 2010 and, while they're import guitars with an upscale-sounding name, they're well-built and have a following. This one is a "10th Anniversary" model and is built along the lines of a Martin OM -- long scale and 000 in body size. It has a good, even sound with plenty of volume.

Interesting features: The pearl trim along the top and at the rosette is a nice look. It's also got small diamond-like inlay in the fretboard and the board and headstock binding give it a bit of extra class. The headstock "volute" on the back pays tribute to old Martins and is crisp and well-done. It currently has an armrest that must have been installed by the owner as it does not appear to be a factory feature.

Repairs included: It only needed a quick setup and I think it was Sarah who gave it one. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve.
