2020s Journey Overhead OF312 Packable Travel Guitar

Overview: Travel guitars are, apparently, not like they used to be! This is a well-thought-out, full-sounding, interesting-looking guitar with a variety of features that make it a fun instrument to own. It has an easily-removable, bolt-on neck and packs down into a carry-on-size piece of luggage after said neck is removed with a click of a button and turn of that big bolt-y thing at the heel. There's a plastic part at the nut that keeps the strings held in place up there so you're free to maneuver the removed neck into its bag without too much fuss.

Interesting features: It has a body that is a lot thicker on the treble side than the bass (AKA, the Manzer Wedge), giving it a little extra airspace while also making it more comfortable to hold and pointing the soundhole a little more towards the ear. While it's roughly 0-size in body outline, this dreadnought-like depth gives it a much-bigger voice than I expected when I first pulled it out of the case.

Repairs included: It got bumped at one point and there's a crack near the center seam in the middle of the back. I cleated that (it's now secure) and then set it up. It's playing spot-on and ready to go!
