2010s Ellis Music SN4A 15" Viola
Overview: This instrument is in some sort of trade-deal limbo at the moment, but suffice to say I wanted to post on it, heh heh. There's a school-program-centered music shop over in Bethel, VT (Ellis Music) that specializes in rentals and repairs. This is one of their own-brand, sold instruments, and appears to be a relabeled import of some sort. I bought it from the family of the original owner.
Interesting features: It has a quirky, spongey-looking finish style. Despite being a little low-brow in the looks, the sound and feel is all there and it has a big, warm voice.
Repairs included: Manny adjusted the setup and restrung it. It's ready to rip.
