1930s Regal-made Mahogany Soprano Ukulele
Overview: While unbranded, this uke was made by Regal in Chicago. It's got a solid mahogany body and neck, ladder-bracing, and a nicely-bound fretboard and top. It has a sweet, mellow tone and a nice, comfy neck with plenty of string spacing at the nut and saddle.
Repairs included: I worked on this years ago, but at the time, as I recall, I gave it a neck reset, fret level/dress, crack repairs, replacement bracing, cleaning, and setup work. This time around I adjusted the setup again, added side dots, and added a new set of 4:1 geared uke pegs at the headstock. It's playing spot-on and is ready to serve.
