2018 Kelton Swade 1952 AVRT Tele-Style Electric Guitar

Overview: Kelton Swade was a Nashville builder who made guitars for a number of great names in the countrified genres. He unfortunately passed-away in 2022 and so there are now a finite number in the wild. His focus was on replica-style instruments and this Tele-style guitar, based on a '52 template, is certainly a great example. He spent a great deal of time aging the bodies and removing as many VOCs through his process as possible to reduce weight and give the instruments an "old" feel and sound. He got it right! While this instrument handles beautifully, it also has the classic sound and rugged, decades-playing, bar-band look you want to see out of an old Tele.

Repairs included: I tweaked the saddles for better compensation and gave it a setup. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: It's been relic'd, of course, so it's a bit hard to tell what's "playwear" and what's "brand new." I'm assuming it only had light play, however. Its pickguard may have been brand new as it still had cling-film on it when it arrived.

It comes with: It has a slick, tooled-leather-style hard case.
