1924 Vega Little Wonder Tenor Banjo
Overview: Little Wonder models continue to be very popular around the shop! This one is early enough to be quite short scale at just 20" and so I've set it up as an "American Celtic" instrument, strung GDAE like an octave mandolin. It fills that role nicely and has a sweet, mellow tone with a bit of a plucky thing going-on. I've gone through it and upgraded things where it was needed to make it a solid, easy-to-live-with, player's instrument.
Repairs included: Molly gave it a level/dress of the frets. I cleaned it up a bit, fit new Gotoh 4:1 geared pegs, fit a new bridge and tailpiece, and set it up. It was lucky-enough to have arrived with my preferred head type (Renaissance) and so I left that! It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: It's a good looker, with just a little usewear here and there. The head, bridge, and tuners are replacements. It's otherwise original throughout and even has a cool, original, 4-hook, No Knot tailpiece. The headstock veneer has some dryness cracks in it that I filled to stabilize.
It comes with: It has an old, presumably-original, hard case (as I recall).
