1950 Silvertone (Harmony H50) Hollowbody Archtop Electric Guitar

Overview: This is Sear Silvertone-liveried version of the Harmony H50. It's got a Gibson P13 pickup (Harmony bought these from Gibson after the war) and a full, hollowbody build so its tone and vibe is in the region of an older ES-125 or ES-150. It's definitely fro"classic jam zzbox" land but, when given some grit and push, it will definitely roar for blues or rockabilly, too. It has fancier trim throughout and the celluloid headstock veneer, which is both embossed and painted, looks tops.

Repairs included: I leveled and dressed the frets, repaired the odd open seam on the back, sprayed out the wiring, and refit the bridge that was on it a bit better. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: The nut, tuners, and bridge are replacements, though the tuners are older. It has a ton of scratches, scuffs, nicks, dings, and other handling-wear throughout. The back of the neck has some sections where finish has been chipped-off or rubbed-off over the years, for sure. The endpin is likely a replacement. There's a bunch of pickwear near the pickup cover. The original pickguard is long gone. If this were my guitar, I would want to replace the volume/tone pots with new ones as the old ones are a little finicky even after a spray-out -- though they are original. I would do this for free if the next owner desires it.

It comes with: It has a decent hard case.
