1998 Fender DG-8 Dreadnought Guitar
Overview: This is a plain-Jane, vanilla, all-ply, mass-market, starter guitar. It has an alright sound, a comfy neck, and is built to withstand dorm negligence and campfire weather woes. This arrived in a group of random, lower-end gear and is ready for the next student to strum-away on.
Repairs included: I swapped strings and gave it a good setup. Could it use a level/dress of the frets to make it spot-on? For sure, but it plays nice as-is. As a bonus, someone swapped the (probably awful) original tuners with a set of sealed, Grover-style units. Yip!
