2020s Ibanez AAM50CE Cutaway Acoustic/Electric Guitar

Overview: I would say this is a "no-frills, use-everyday" guitar, but the reality is that it's that but it's also got some goodies, too, by way of an onboard preamp and pickup, cutaway build, and a ding-dong soundport. This definitely has "boutique" aspirations even though it's a completely-affordable instrument.

It sounds good, too, and the neck is quick. It's 000-size, bright blue-burst, modern-looking in a "let's take you to lunch, Taylor" sort-of way, and has a surprisingly-solid, warm-mids, almost Gibson-like sound to it. It's good stuff.

Repairs included: I just gave it a quick setup and cleaned-up the top finish a bit. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: When this came to me in trade, it was almost playing on-spec. It also had a sticky top finish with some muddiness to its look. I'm guessing it either got stored inappropriately, someone slathered a bit of extra finish on top, or it got hot one day in the sun and/or the finish did not cure properly on top. In any case, it needed a wipe-down with some fine steel wool and cleaner to get the finish back to a non-sticky, satin look like the rest of the guitar. It's not perfect, but it's not bad at a glance or touch, though there are definitely some wear-marks on top, now. All that aside, it's in good health, original to itself, and with just minor small scratches, nicks, or dings here and there.
