2006 Breedlove AD-20/SR Dreadnought Guitar
This is a customer's guitar that was just in for a check-up, level/dress of the frets, and setup. It's labeled as a factory second and it's had a bit of a rough life but a very useful one for its owner. For a mid-grade guitar in features and design, it has a ton of fancy trim and also sounds and plays nice, too.
Breedlove builds a lot of their stuff around factory-installed Bridge Doctors and this one has one, too. As you might expect, that extra reinforcement gives the instrument more sustain than a traditional flattop as the soundboard isn't flexing against the tension as much. This is something that I notice in most things where a Bridge Doctor has been fitted.
I can't say I'm a huge fan of the pinless bridge design because it makes setup frustrating when one needs to yank the strings to adjust the saddle but from a player's perspective (when you're not going to be doing setup work when you're just picking it up to play) they're a perfectly good feature.
