c.1920 Martin Style 1 Soprano Ukulele

This is a customer's Martin style 1 uke I finished up yesterday. As expected -- tone, volume, feel, fit, and finish -- all As here. This one suffered some loose braces and hairline cracks in the body, which I dealt with. At the same time I gave it a fret dress, replaced a missing (broken) tuner peg with a vintage parts bin one, and cleaned and set it all up.

These are nice ukes, and the rosewood binding is such a sweet touch to a classic, clean design.

Micro dot inlay looks great.

Ebony nut and saddle.

There's some nice 'hog on this uke, too!

Well, that's that! I wish I had this customer's luck in inheriting such a little gem.
